Faith in God
by A Paduan inis "faith in god" a level of suspicion about existence ?
i postulate that it is not.. it was put forward in a thread above that jws must have had some 'faith in an unseen deity', but i reflected that they must have simply had a notion regarding the existence of another power, and that faith in someone reflects a belief in the quality of another, not just a suspicion of quantity.. jws normally do not have faith in the deity described in scripture and hence, in a confused fear, work in the attempt to appease and be accepted, not only misunderstanding love in general but misrepresenting the same to others.
the mandate for performance of works is a faith in the value of their own effort (and that there is likely a deity who is like a boss-man).. .

How do jws circumvent the law in relation to being so unethical ?
by A Paduan inso how do they ?
.
authorites don't touch religious messes for fear of "religious persecution" ?the charges typically involve civil action ?the 'witnesses' are all closed lipped ?they have documentation that, although not practiced, is a ready written defence ?the wtbts insists that people have "free choice" even though phobias and fear of family loss remain as threats ?are they such practiced a$$&oles that they can continually carry on such unethical behaviours in modern thinking societies, under the guise of religious freedom ?.

Break on through to the other side
by A Paduan inevery major religion was started by a man - in an action that's pretty much like playing football - we just have to beat something and nirvana is ours.
if we can just break on through to the other side everything will be ok !.
does that thinking reflect the way women are ?.

"You shall not lend upon interest to your brother..."
by A Paduan inyou shall not lend upon interest to your brother, interest on money, interest on victuals, interest on anything that is lent for interest.
to a foreigner you may lend upon interest, but to your brother you shall not lend upon interest; that the lord your god may bless you in all that you undertake in the land which you are entering to take possession of it.. does not oppress any one, but restores to the debtor his pledge, commits no robbery, gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with a garment, does not lend at interest or take any increase, withholds his hand from iniquity.
lifts up his eyes to the idols, commits abomination, lends at interest, and takes increase; shall he then live?

What will they do when the blood ban has no meaning ?
by A Paduan inpeople will invent ways of making blood, eventually, no doubt.
they will probably have synthetic substitutes for the short term and be able to grow or clone it off our own dna or something before too long.
so what will the org do for martyrs and publicity then ?

The wt society - and hell
by A Paduan in"hell" has word meaning roots of "a concealed place" as does "cell", and "an abode of the dead" - it is often described as prison, and since the middle ages it has been figuratively used to describe a bad experience.. when i read people posting the term "kingdumb hell" it reminds me that the jw denial of endless punishment as a living-dead person is simply a denial of their own existence.
indeed it comes with a continual burning (desire) and fire and brimstone (the threats and fear of harm, and labour).. my response to their "there is no such thing" is "really ?".

1st century christians...........
by A Paduan inthere's seems to be much pride taken in religious purity if the practice of '1st century christians' is sought out and copied.
i have also heard mention of 'early christian' practice spoken of to defend the blood issue.. so what makes the '1st century christians' actually christians, and not largely represented by fundamentalist nuts too ?
so now many antichrists have comei'd say there were just as many (by proportion) standover fearful religious nuts full of literal rules, back when some people first literally didn't eat blood, or literally get circumcised etc.. .

Do other religions have questions you're not allowed to ask ?
by A Paduan inthere seem to be certain unanswerable questions that only "apostates" would ask - ones that sort of send up a flare.. do other religions have these "you must be the debbil" fears of thought ?.
